Cell Phone Affects

As Kelsi was running her 3rd lap at track practice, she felt a few buzzes in her pocket. She answered the shaking cell phone once she realized it was her mother. Kelsey’s mother calmly stated that there was a family emergency and that she would be leaving early. If, Kelsi did not have a cell phone she would not know about her leaving early. Cell phones can affect people’s lives by changing how people communicate with others socially and have helpful apps/tools.
Cell phones can help or hurt anyone’s social life and communication skills. For example, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, and texting, can help a teenager who recently moved to keep up with her friends by checking their pages or talking to them through text. Using a cell phone for these social media sites and texting can help her communicate easier and conveniently with her friends from home. In addition, although it can help it can also hurt a person’s communication skills. If two cousins were shopping and one of them was constantly walking and texting, this could affect the relationship with the cousins and they wouldn’t be communicating properly and having fun together.
Cell phones can also affect people’s lives by being a helpful tool. For example, if two 12 year old kids were riding their bikes and got lost, they could simply use a GPS app to find their way home. This could affect their chances of getting home safely and not becoming severely injured. In addition, a cell phone can affect our everyday lives, even ifit doesn’t make that big of a difference. If an adult was going to go mountain biking in the morning, they can use their phone to check the weather. Whether it be big or small, cell phones can affect someone and be helpful in any way.
A cellphone can be useful or helpful in a person’s’ life. But cell phones are also a big responsibility so they are also capable of teaching humans how to be responsible. Therefore, cell phones can definitely affect a humans’ life no matter how big or small the situation is.
